I split my Saturday between doing some work around the house and spending time at the computer keyboard. Saturday mornings at the gym and then getting some writing done at Caboose Commons or Panera Bread is something I still miss. It’ll be great to get back to it.
Here’s how my day went:
- I got the oomph to exercise more with some kettlebells and resistance bands. It felt good. I may even wake up with sore shoulders tomorrow.
- I spent some time finishing up an upcoming article for TechTarget for my deadline this Thursday. This week, I’ll use the evenings to tweak it more and fact check some points before I send the article to my editors.
- One of my goals during the shutdown is to work on my online presence so I spent some time today going through some half complete personal web projects so I can chart a new path forward.
- My day ended off with some personal and professional reading.
It’s hard to say when this is all going to end and life opens back up. The Health Commissioner of Virginia made an ominous pronouncement of two years that was promptly walked back. I feel that nobody is driving when it comes to the government response at the Virginia state or federal levels. Too much politicking and selfishness are interfering.
How’s did Saturday go for you?
