It’s Thursday of my second week in social isolation. I’m thankful that I have a job that affords me the opportunity to work from home. Being a technical writer is already a very solitary job at times. However, that still didn’t prepare me for working from home during a pandemic.

Here are some things I have going on right now:

• Spent the morning doing some research for a work project
• Attended the IDG TECHtalk Twitter Chat at lunch and that inspired some new pitch ideas
• Splitting this evening kicking off a new TechTarget article and some personal writing
• The silence outside my house isn’t bothering me as much as it did earlier in the week
