Self isolation Saturday: Episode #3

Well, it’s another Saturday in social isolation. I have a break today from TechTarget writing assignments so I spent the day working on some house projects and personal writing that have become victims of my procrastination over the past few months.

Here’s how I spent my Saturday:

  • I ran an errand to the post office to mail something to my Mother. So I got to mask up again. There was no crowd in the post office so it didn’t have the same slightly dystopian feel of my supply run to the grocery store the day before.
  • I spent some time on some personal writing projects and still wish I could be more productive on such personal projects where I don’t have a firm deadline driving me.
  • I watched Grosse Pointe Blank thanks to Amazon Video. It’s a fun movie from 1997.

I miss not being able to go to the gym on Saturday mornings. Even if I have an article to write on Saturdays, I would go some place like Caboose Commons to write. I could do neither of these activities today. However, I must remind myself to be thankful for everything I have right now.

Tomorrow, I continue my attack on some overdue basement projects!

How did you spend your self isolation Saturday?
